Fourteen Palestinian pilgrims were killed when their bus overturned in southern Jordan and 36 others were injured, the agencies reported quoting the emergency services, BBC Russian Service reported.

According to the authorities, the driver of the bus lost control of the vehicle near the Saudi Arabia border around 320 kilometers to the south from Amman.

The group had been heading to Saudi Arabia for Umrah - small pilgrimage to Mecca.
