French President Francois Hollande has rejected the project on constitutional changes, Gazeta reported quoting Reuters.
It is mentioned that disagreements with the opposition are the reason for this.
"Parts of the opposition have been hostile to a revision of the constitution. I have decided to end this debate,” Hollande said.
Besides, the constitution will not be revised for the purpose of introduction of a new article about an emergency rule in connection with the threat of terrorist attacks.
