Latvia President Raymond Veyonis has resumed his duties of president, the official website of Latvia president reports.

Veyonis held the first press-conference in Jūrmala residence after being discharged from hospital.

Raymond Veyonis was earlier diagnosed with heart defect. He was discharged from hospital after the defect had been removed.  Following this he underwent treatment in Vaivari Rehabilitation Center in Jūrmala.
