The social networking websites’ users in Turkey have posted Photoshop images and written funny comments regarding Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is visiting the US, and US President Barack Obama, who has refused to meet with him.

One such Photoshop image, in which Obama is sitting in his office and working while Erdoğan knocks on the window saying “Obi, open the door, open, let’s talk,” has become very popular on Twitter.

Turkey has made great efforts to set up an Obama-Erdoğan talk in the US, whereas the latter has turned down this request. 

Furthermore, no senior American official met the Turkish president at the airport in Washington D.C.
