Large investors will get a VAT reimbursement in Armenia, Deputy Minister of Finance Vakhtang Mirumyan said today at the parliament while introducing the draft Tax Code.

In his words, if only exporters get the reimbursement now, with the adoption of the Code large investors, this will also be available to those large investors who are important for Armenia and who will not be able to write off the VAT of the suppliers within six months.

Besides, the period during which the business can pay VAT for the industrial equipment and raw materials will be extended. If currently the VAT is to be paid within 10 days from the moment of import, this period will now be extended till 20th day of the following month.
