Finland’s Prime Minister and chairman of The Finnish Centre Party Juha Sipila has sold the house in Kempele's community, Yle reported.

According to other Finnish media outlet, the deal was concluded on March 21 and it amounted to €570 thousand.

The prime minister confirmed the sale of the house. According to him, he and his wife decided to buy a smaller house on the square. Sipila did not mention the amount of the transaction.

 Last September Sipila has told that he is ready to give to the refugees the house in Kempele, in the north of Finland, at the beginning of the next year. The prime minister has urged citizens of the country to follow his example and to show solidarity with refugees.
