The OSCE Minsk Group dealing with the Karabakh conflict will hold another session in Vienna next week to address the dramatic escalation of the situation in the conflict zone, the source in the OSCE told RIA Novosti.

“Considering the continuing escalation on the Line of Contact in the framework of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and the role of the OSCE in contributing to the [conflict] settlement, the three [Minsk Group] Co-Chairs (Russia, U.S., France) will meet in Vienna next week in the framework of regular consultations. They are expected to inform the Minsk Group members, consisting of a number of OSCE member-states, on the situation and further steps of the Co-Chairs in looking for ways to quickly normalize the long-running conflict,” the agency source said.

The OSCE Minsk Group, which is co-chaired by Russia, U.S. and France, deals with the Karabakh conflict settlement. The Group also includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Finland and Turkey.
