YEREVAN. – Israeli citizens show solidarity with the Armenian people, deputy speaker of Israel’s Knesset Tali Ploskov said during her visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial.

The last time when the Armenian delegation visited Israel, about 2-3 months ago, speaker of the Israeli parliament touched upon the issue, she told Armenian News-NEWS.am asked about recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

“He touched upon the matter and said that our story is very similar. We understand that we cannot remain indifferent to the deaths of so many people, in this case – Armenians. So, I cannot speak on behalf of the state right now, but I understand that we are with you with our whole heart,” she added.
