The German government is concerned about the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Minister of Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier intends to discuss the situation in a zone of conflict with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov by the end of day, representative of the German Foreign Ministry Martin Schaefer reported at a press conference.

He reminded that earlier Steinmeier urged both parties to stop military operations as soon as possible. Schaefer mentioned that the minister plans to carry out a phone conversation with his Russian colleague in the second half of the day.
