STEPANAKERT. - Upon the initiative of the Pridnestrovian side, a phone conversation took place between the Karabakh FM Karen Mirzoyan and acting FM of Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR) Vitaly Ignatiev .

The sides discussed issues related to the large-scale military actions launched by Azerbaijan in the night of April 2 on the Line of Contact between the Karabakh –Azerbaijani opposing forces, as well as the ensuing situation.

Vitaly Ignatiev expressed full support to Artasakh on behalf of the PMR leadership and people, hoping that the situation will normalize shortly.

The sides expressed conviction that the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict can be solved exclusively through peaceful means.
