STEPANAKERT. – The statement which the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense issued on Wednesday, and according to which, allegedly, the Armenian armed forces are firing from various-caliber mortars, is not true.
Press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army informed about the above-said.
It added that the Defense Army vanguard units strictly adhere to the cease-fire agreement that has been reached.
The chiefs of general staffs of the armed forces of Armenia and Azerbaijan met on Tuesday in Moscow, where a cease-fire agreement was reached.
Even though the firing had stopped on the same day and as of noon, the Azerbaijani side continues to fire at irregular intervals, but not with the former intensity.
