YEREVAN. - A frag still remains in the spine of one of the servicemen undergoing treatment in Yerevan’s Central Clinical Military Hospital, the hospital director Aram Asaruryan told journalists Saturday.
In his words, the soldier had various wounds in the area of belly and chest. “His lungs, liver, lien and tomach have all been damaged. When his condition stabilizes, we will operate on his spine for the second time. The frag in the spine doesn’t pose threat to the serviceman’s life,” Asaturyan noted. The soldier’s condition is extremely critical right now, he added.
To the question of Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent on the condition of Hayk Torosyan, 19, who has come out of coma, Asaturyan said: “Fortunately, positive dynamics is observed in Hayk’s condition”.
As of Saturday, 36 servicemen are undergoing treatment in the Central Clinical Military Hospital. The condition of four of them is extremely critical.
