The world is not aware of the atrocities committed by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh, Paul Levin told Armenian News - NEWS.am. Levin is a historian, who visited Yerevan to participate in the Global Forum Against the Crime of Genocide .
"I read a lot about the conflict but did not read about the atrocities . I learnt about them during discussions , and, I think, the whole world does not know about them . Therefore, the Armenian government and journalists should raise the awareness of the international community making sure that those cases have appeared in the international press, " he said.
“Azerbaijan should be convicted of the crime. Of course, violence should be severely condemned. But does it change anything? Sometimes yes, sometimes no, " Levin noted.
