The US defense department has made an additional contract with Lockheed Martin for suppling 13 fifth generation fighter-bombers F- 35 Lightning II, reports Gazeta with a reference to Defense News.
The main contract ensures to provide six F-35B for the Marine Corp, three F-35A for the Air Forces and four F-35C for the Navy. Earlier it was reported that the total cost of the Lockheed Martin’s supplies in 2015 made $ 46.1 billion. In 2014 it was $ 45.6 billion.
