Kiev and Ankara have agreed on joint production of airplanes at the base of the Ukrainian Antonov concern, press-service of the Ukrainian Deputy PM Gennadiy Zubko reported Friday.

“This specifically relates to the development and production of TAN-158 passenger plane on the basis of An-158 jet; cargo aircraft for the Turkish side on the basis of An-178; and a plane for the Turkish side on the basis of An-70,” the press-service cites Zubko.

The corresponding decision was taken in the framework of the 10th meeting of Ukrainian-Turkish intergovernmental Committee on Commercial and Economic Cooperation.
