YEREVAN. – The commodity turnover between Armenia and Poland has increased; a US$50-million trade is conducted annually. 

Garegin Melkonyan, the First Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia, on Tuesday stated the abovementioned at the fifth session of the Armenian-Polish Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, which kicked off in capital city Yerevan.

In recent years, there is a growth also in the export of Armenian goods to Poland.

The main share of the [respective] exports is foil,” Melkonyan added. “Since we [Armenia] are making use of the GSP+ system of the European Union, our foils are exported to Poland at zero duty.”
