YEREVAN. – A meeting of the Armenian First President Levon Ter- Petrosyan and the German Ambassador Matthias Kisler in  German Embassy in Armenia took place on Tuesday.

They discussed the internal political situation in Armenia, particularly issues related to the Electoral Code and Karabakh settlement.

Both Ter- Petrosyan and the ambassador Kisler stressed the importance of the decision made yesterday at the conference in Vienna on applying constant monitoring mechanisms on the Karabakh -Azerbaijani contact line. The German Deputy Ambassador Nadia Lichtenberger and the head of the first president 's office Avetis Avagyan also took part in the meeting.
