The most expensive air ticket in the world is offered for sale by the Etihad Airways belonging to the United Arab Emirates, Gazeta reported quoting The Daily Mail.

As it is reported, for a flight from London to Melbourne on Airbus A380-800 plane, the passenger will have to pay $80.5 thousand.

The one who will spend this sum onboard an airliner will get a three-room suite with a bedroom, a living room and a bathroom.  A large double bed will be at the disposal of a passenger, the bed is an innovation for commercial airlines, as well as two TVs. Besides, he will be served by a personal butler and a chef.

The previous record for the cost of the ticket on a flight from New York to Mumbai is $75.9 thousand.
