The police and social services on the morning of June 6 have evacuated the camp of illegal immigrants to the north of Paris, reports France Press. The evacuation of the camp started at 07: 00 pm. There are about 1.3 thousand people living in the settlement , mostly women who came to Paris from Afghanistan , Sudan, Somalia, and Eritrea .

This camp had already been evacuated, but the migrants returned here again. Social services and humanitarian organizations have repeatedly reported that the sanitary situation in the settlement is disappointing. Last week, Doctors Without Borders registered cases of tuberculosis there. The migrants were transported in 40 buses to 60 temporary shelters in Paris.

Europe today suffers from a major migration crisis since the Second World War , primarily due to armed conflicts and economic issues in the Middle East and the North Africa. EU Frontex reports that in 2015 1.8 million migrants arrived to the EU.
