There is scheduled a gay parade in Vilnius on June 18, where ambassadors of six countries will participate, reports RIA Novosti.

The ambassadors of Great Britain, Italy, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Norway plan to attend  the gay parade.

According to the national LGBT organization in Lithuania , the organization of Baltic Pride gay parade is supported by the heads of 12 diplomatic missions , including Denmark, Austria, Canada , Israel, France, and the US ambassadors .

The parade will be held under the slogan "For the sake of equality". The organizers has received permission from the Vilnius municipality to hold the parade with participation of thousands of people.
