The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued instructions for pilots who have mental disorders, reports Deutsche Welle. According to the instructions, pilots who feel that they have mental problems, should undergo a treatment , without having any fear that it will have a negative impact on their employment.

Furthermore, additional studies are suggested to doctors who work in the aviation. The instructions were adopted as a counteraction to the catastrophe of Germanwings airline in March of 2015.

The FAA administrator Michael Peter Huerta, introducing new commands, expressed a regret in connection with "sticking labels” on pilots who have mental problems.
