STEPANAKERT. – The President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh), Bako Sahakyan, on Friday held a meeting with Belgian academic circles in the Foundation Universitaire organization, in Belgium.

The President touched upon the state-building process in Artsakh, its domestic and foreign policy, the Karabakh-Azerbaijani conflict settlement process, the large-scale military actions unleashed by Azerbaijan from April 2 to 5 and their consequences, and regional developments, reported the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Subsequently, he responded to the questions posed by those in attendance.

Sahakyan also expressed gratitude to the organizers of this meeting in such prestigious institution, noting that this was useful and in demand, especially against the backdrop of the current complicated geopolitical developments.

Summing up the results of the Artsakh delegation’s visit to Belgium, the President assessed all the meetings and reached agreements as effective, stating that cooperation with Belgium has promising prospects for Artsakh, and creates good preconditions for mutually beneficial partnership.
