There took place an insolent robbery of the postal train in India. A gang of thieves has made a slot in the roof of one of the wagons and stolen more than $750 000 in cash. The robbery was discovered only when the train reached its destination.

According to the AFP, the Indian police believes that the gang consisted of 6-8 people. The train was carrying $ 51 million owned by India's central bank. It is noteworthy to mention that there were armed watchmen next to the carriage where the criminals punctured the roof. Note that the banknotes were transported for utilization , however , they are still in circulation and are likely to be used.
