John O'Neill, from York, who must notify police 24 hours before he has sex has lost his legal battle to have the restriction lifted, BBC reported.

District Judge Adrian Lower said that the requirement to inform the police about each new sexual contact is an absurd and noted that its implementation cannot be controlled. The judge said that the terms of the “frankly unpoliceable” order would be amended.

In 2015, O'Neill was acquitted on charges of rape, however they imposed certain obligations on him due to some comments which he made in conversation with the doctor and nurse of psychiatric department watching him.

During that conversation O'Neill admitted that, in particular, he choked a woman and was thinking “a lot” about killing her.

Also at Friday court session O'Neill made a series of similar confessions which the judge Lower called disturbing.

The requirement to warn the authorities about the planned sexual contacts will remain in force till September when the judge reconsiders conditions of the warrant of O'Neill.

O'Neill himself said that this condition greatly complicates his life. According to the man, he is forced to live in the forest and cannot find a job because of the decision of the court.
