German economist, Nobel Prize Laureate in Economic Sciences Reinhard Selten died at the age of 85.
The scientist passed away on August 23 in Poznań, Poland, TASS reports.
Selten was the only German to have won a Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences. It was conferred on him and the Americans John Nash and John Harsanyi for their contribution in the development of the so-called game theory.
