A plane carrying three people crashed at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, killing all on board, CNN reported.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening soon after the take-off. As airport spokesman Brian Kulpin reported the piper Cherokee plane, which seats three, experienced an unknown problem causing it to crash into cars parked at the airport's parking lot. At least, 15 cars were damaged.

According to Kalpin, in spite of the plane crash, the airport continues work. The FAA and National transportation safety board NTSB are investigating the crash.
