Ex-president of Israel Shimon Peres was rushed to hospital after suffering a stroke, AP reports, citing the president's office.
In September Peres underwent an operation on implanting a heart pacemaker. By the end of July he felt bad. The doctors diagnosed ciliary arrhythmia.
On August 2, Peres marked his 93rd anniversary.
