The employees of Durham University conducted a survey among 18,000 people from 134 countries and found that 68 percent of respondents are in need of a rest. The other 32 percent said that they need more rest than the average man needs, reports Rosbalt.

The survey showed that the level of rest and well-being are closely interconnected. On average, young people with high incomes have the least possibilities for having a rest. People who were taking care of children or have changeable schedules also complained about lack of leisure time.

Scientists emphasize that having a rest does not mean having a sleep only. Rest consists of physical, psychological, and spiritual components.
