110 years-old Aleksan Markaryan was a special guest at an event hosted by the Armenian Law Students' Association at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, FOX 11 reports.
He shared his memories of the Genocide. Aleksan was about nine years old in 1915, the year of the tragic events. He was fired from his job at a pharmacy because of being a Christian. Markaryan remembers being called an infidel. He had to convert to Islam to save his life.
