Poland's Defense Ministry has a recording of a telephone conversation between Vladimir Putin and the former Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that took place on April 10 of 2010, on the day of Smolensk crash, said the Polish Defense Minister Antoni Macierewicz in an interview with Gazeta Polska.

According to him, Tusk even did not tell anyone that he had a talk with Vladimir Putin and Sergei Shoygu, who had already had the seized information of the boxes and had known about the details of the crash. Macierewicz said the conversation had no word about the birch, but only a supposition that the aircraft could have destroyed the plant, in case it had flown longer. Macierewicz pays attention to the fact that the information, the conversation among Tusk, Putin and Shoygu provides, contradicts to the conclusion made by the international aviation commitee and Miller Committee. The minister also promised that soon the recording of the conversation will be posted, reports the Polish Radio.

The Polish Air Force Tu-154 aircraft crashed on April 10 of 2010 near Smolensk. All 96 people on board were killed, including the head of state Lech Kaczynski with his wife. The International Aviation Committee concluded, that the crash happened due to the error of the pilot.
