Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed a welcoming letter to the participants in the 7th Azerbaijani-Russian Inter-Regional Forum, which is convened in the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku.

In his letter, Putin stated that Russia and Azerbaijan are linked through friendly relations, according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

Border and interregional cooperation, prospective infrastructure projects, interregional economic cooperation, etc. between Russia and Azerbaijan will be discussed within the framework of this forum.
