The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump imposed sanctions against Venezuelan Vice President Tareck El Aissami accusing him of playing a major role in international drug trafficking, Fox News reported.

Tareck El Aissami is included in the list of whose assets are frozen. According to Trump's administration, he is controlling routes of drug shipments to Mexico and the United States.
