YEREVAN. – Members of the National Assembly of Armenia on Tuesday stood a minute of silence in memory of the Armenians who were killed in the pogroms that took place 29 years ago in Sumgait.
In late February 1988, large-scale massacres because of ethnicity were committed in this Azerbaijani town.
