Two French-Armenian activists will be judged by the Nanterre Criminal Court on March 7 for “ambush and voluntary violence” against the Turkish Ambassador to France, Mr. Hakki Akil.

After the embassy complaint, one of them was accused of having projected a red liquid on the Turkish ambassador in France on March 2, 2015, while the other student was charged on having disseminated the scene on social networks, journalist Jean Eckian reports.

The incident occurred during a speech by Hakkı Akil at Paris Descartes University

“The symbolic deed of these two students took place in a French university, an institution that cannot leave room to falsifiers of history. This act of denunciation has to break the wall of silence imposed to Turkish citizens and to the Armenians of the world,” Charjoum movement said in a statement.
