The US administration will not fund the UN programs on climate change, according to the White House, reports Novosti.
According to the main provisions of the US 2018 budget, it will restrain the Obama administration's strategy on funding the UN programs on climate change.
To promulgate this drift into a law, it will require the approval of both houses of the Congress and the president's signature. The budget "draft" is a manifestation of the White House’s priorities, whereas the budget is usually accepted as a result of debates and compromises between the Congress and the administration.
