The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia will make a statement in connection with the war in April 2016, at the line of contact between the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) and Azerbaijan armed forces.

Maria Zakharova, official representative of the Russian MFA, announced that the ministry will issue an extensive evaluation regarding the Karabakh peace process.

In her words, the respective comprehensive materials will be posted on the Russian foreign ministry website.

Zakharova noted, however, that she has no information on an upcoming Moscow meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“If such information develops, I surely will share it with you,” she added.
