The delegation of the Peoples’ Democratic Party of Turkey (HDP) along with Turkish MP of Armenia descent Garo Paylan visited the Big Island off the coast of Istanbul within the framework of the election campaign.

According to Turkish Demokrathaber website, in the Big Island, Garo Paylan and the delegation members campaigning for “no”to the constitutional referendum were warmly welcomed by the local residents. 

In one of the streets one of the residents exclaimed: “Welcome, Diaspora representative,”following which those gathered applauded to Garo Paylan.

The latter urged the citizens to say “no” during the elections slated for April 16 for the sake of democratic Turkey.
