A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Philippines, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology, Xinhua reported.
The tremors were recorded at 04:46, 12 kilometers from the city of Wao, Lanao del Sur. The seismic center lay at a depth of 5 kilometers.
There was no damage from the quake but it warned of aftershocks.
