YEREVAN. – In 2016, the number of schoolchildren in Armenia has increased from 348,600 to 352,600.
The aforesaid is noted in the 2016 State Budget performance report, whose debates are continuing at the standing committees of the National Assembly.
Accordingly, education expenditures increased by 3.3 percent, as compared with the previous year.
The number of schools, however, has remained virtually the same—1354 instead of 1356.
