YEREVAN. – The civil society in Armenia is at the earliest stage of formation.

Analyst Andrzej Parafiniuk, Chairman of the Board of the Podlaska Regional Development Foundation (Poland), told the above-said to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his words, on the one hand, NGOs need to be improved from the inner viewpoint, and on the other hand, they should work with their “target” groups, and therefore external capabilities are another important part..

As per Parafiniuk, if NGOs want to take a favorable stand before the government, they need to be stronger.

According to the Polish analyst, relations between the government and small NGOs were the same 25 years ago in Poland as they are now in Armenia.

He added, however, that the government realizes the need for good relations with NGOs.

Andrzej Parafiniuk concluded that the important thing is not vote-buying during elections, but maintaining good relations with NGOs.
