A man shot and killed himself near the fence of the White House in Washington, the police said.

The man’s name was not revealed as police first intend to inform his family.

U.S. President Donald Trump was in Florida during the incident.

All entrances were blocked and journalists were evacuated from the briefing hall because of the shots.
