US First lady Melania Trump has undergone a kidney operation, and therefore she cannot fly for now.

President Donald Trump on Friday told about the aforesaid to reporters, before heading to Canada for the G7 summit, reported Russian News Agency TASS.

“She wanted to go [to the summit],” Trump said. “[But she] can’t fly for one month, the doctors say. She had a big operation, that was close to a 4-hour operation. And she’s doing great.”

Melania Trump turned 48 on April 26.
