Helsinki is considered as a location for the meeting of the U.S. and Russian president, Reuters reported quoting a senior U.S. official.
Earlier Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that Trump will probably meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the near future.
White House national security adviser John Boltonn will visit Moscow this week to organize the meeting.
