Armenia slipped down seven spots in the Global Peace Index (GPI) 2018 compared with that of the last year, being ranked 120th out of 163 countries. The 12th annual ‘Global Peace Index” was prepared by Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP).
Armenia is located between Turkmenistan (119th place) and USA (121st place).
Russia is 154th, Turkey is 149th, Georgia - 102nd and Azerbaijan -132nd.
Syria is at the opposite end of the scale, along with Afghanistan and South Sudan.
