A fatal hit-and-run has occurred Wednesday in Armenia’s Kotayk Province.

At around 9pm, a car hit a pedestrian in Abovyan town, according to shamshyan.com.

But the driver of this vehicle left the victim unattended, left the car, and fled the scene.

The injured pedestrian died in hospital, and without regaining consciousness.

A criminal case has been launched into this incident.

Police are ascertaining the identity of the victim, and are looking for the driver.
