Commemorations on the 75th anniversaries of the Battles of Stalingrad and Kursk—during World War II—were held Monday in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
The events brought together the ambassadors of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, officers of the Russian army, war veterans, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Defense and National Assembly of Armenia.
Those who fell during these battles also were remembered.
