YEREVAN. – The Republican Party of Armenia and the facilitating forces have officially declared the counter-revolution by introducing a draft law on amendments to the parliament’s regulations, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday.

His remark came in Baghramyan Avenue addressing to protesters.

“The notorious extraordinary meeting of the parliament has been held, the bill has already been passed. The Republican Party of Armenia and the facilitating forces have officially declared the counter-revolution by introducing a draft law on amendments to the parliament’s regulations. However, the counter-revolution has no chance in Armenia,” Pashinyan said, adding that the RPA “must be eradicated from Armenia.”

As reported earlier, Armenian lawmakers adopted the scandalous bill on introducing amendments to the procedures of the National Assembly.

The bill was approved with 67 votes for and one vote 'against'. Members of the Yelq parliamentary group which was headed by Nikol Pashinyan before his appointment as PM, followed PM’s call and did not  register for the vote.

A large number of citizens have gathered in Baghramyan Avenue to protest against amendments to the parliament’s regulations that had been just adopted by the lawmakers.
