The Constitutional Court of Armenia registered the application of the Armenian President Armen Sarkissian regarding the bill with respect to making amendments to the NA regulations constitutional law, the Constitutional Court’s spokesperson Marianna Hakobyan told Armenian News- NEWS.am.

The application is registered and is at the stage of preliminary examination. It will take place within 20 days after registration of the application.

The Constitutional Court must make a decision no later than three months after the application is registered.

As reported earlier, during the extraordinary meeting on October 2, the Armenian parliament adopted a law on making amendments and additions to the law on the parliamentary regulations. Armen Sarkissian, in hist turn, decided to appeal to the Constitutional Court to determine compliance with the Constitution of this law.
