Mobile groups of police officers will keep order on the day of the presidential elections, Novosti-Georgia reported referring to state's Foreign Ministry.

The elections will be held on October 28. A total of 3 648 poll stations will open in Georgia, with 10 of them in prisons and one in a psychiatric hospital.

Mobile police groups have been created in all regions of Georgia to protect public safety and order,  the statement said.

The Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also held a training course preserving a safe, free and peaceful environment during the presidential elections.
