Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama’s nephew Jigme Norbu,45, was tragically killed.

Jigme Norbu was hit by a car traveling at high speed on A1A highway of the east coast of Florida, about 40 kilometers south of St. Augustine (USA), wile he was participating in the 480-kilometer walk “march for freedom in Tibet.”

The tragedy occurred on the night February 14, Itar-Tass reported.

The a location where the Dalai Lama’s nephew died was dark, and the driver most likely, simply did not notice the marchers and Norbu, who was walking along the white.  The driver, Kate O `Dell,31, was  hurrying home with his two young children. None of them were hurt in the incident. According to reports, no charges have been filed by the police.
